My husband, two children and I escaped from Northern Virginia to beautiful Wallowa County in 1999. The move has provided us with a wonderful quality of life that we believe is hard to find anywhere else. The community was open and embracing and we love the natural beauty of the area. Having lived in nine different cities, in five different countries, on three different continents, I can make comparisons. Wallowa County does offer the most unique lifestyle!

Professional Experience

Born and educated in Norway I have extensive experience in sales and marketing. After graduating from the Norwegian School of Marketing with a Bachelors degree in 1990, I have lived and worked in many places: France, Belgium, Zimbabwe and Washington DC.

Living all over and experiencing a variety of people, cultures and lifestyles helps me understand my clients, their backgrounds and needs. I am able to carefully match buyers with the right property and help sellers realize their goals.

Prior to joining Wallowa Mountain Properties I worked for six years as a sales and marketing consultant covering Northeast Oregon. This has helped me understand both the commercial and residential side of the market.

Anette is the now the President of Wallowa County Board of Realtors and a member of the National Association of Realtors

Community Involvement and Hobbies

Being involved in the community through volunteering at my children’s school, for the local foreign exchange program, being a 4H leader, serving on the board of Wallowa Youth Soccer League, a trustee of Enterprise Community Church, and participating in community events has helped me get to know this wonderful place and the people that live here.

With my husband Nils and our children, Silje and Nikolai, I take advantage of what this area has to offer. In the summer we love to hike and horseback ride in the Eagle Cap Wilderness and swim in Wallowa Lake. In the winter we cross-country and downhill ski and play in the snow. We share a small ranchette on Alder Slope in Enterprise with two dogs, two horses, three cats and probably many other creatures in the barn. A true country lifestyle!
