Background

My husband Nils and I moved to Wallowa County with our two children in 1999. Having lived in nine different cities and five different countries, I can honestly say that Wallowa County offers the highest quality of life for someone seeking a warm, open community; rugged, natural beauty; and a slower pace. It's hard to beat the county as a great place to raise a family.

Professional Experience

Born and raised in Norway, I then lived and worked in places as diverse as Zimbabwe and Washington, DC.  This experience helps me work with a variety of clients. 

I graduated from the Norwegian School of Marketing in 1990 and have worked in a variety of sales and marketing capacities prior to joining Wallowa Mountain Properties in 2005.

I was awarded Rookie of the Year in 2006 and Top Producer in 2008.

I’m a member of the National Board of Realtors and served as the President of the Wallowa County Board of Realtors in 2008.

Community Involvement and Hobbies

My family and I enjoy the abundant outdoor opportunities: horseback riding, river rafting, hiking, camping, skiing and snowshoeing. Our property on Alder Slope is home to a couple of horses, dogs, cats and occasionally pigs. A true country lifestyle! I am a 4-H Horse Club leader and a member and volunteer at the Eagle Cap Ski Club.

With my husband Nils and our children, Silje and Nikolai, I take advantage of what this area has to offer. In the summer we love to hike and horseback ride in the Eagle Cap Wilderness and swim in Wallowa Lake. In the winter we cross-country and downhill ski and play in the snow. We share a small ranchette on Alder Slope in Enterprise with two dogs, two horses, three cats and probably many other creatures in the barn. A true country lifestyle!
